The Enchanted Queendom - Story Related Links

The following are links to sites I've found while doing research for this story. The list isn't exhaustive, since I've intentionally left out sites I think might give spoilers, but my hope is that there's enough here to let you figure out if the story is right for you (or give you something extra to read afterwards). However, I ask that you try not to infer too many specifics based on what you find on these sites. I write fiction, not fact, and will completely ignore reality if I think it'll make the story better.

The Links

Wikipedia: Peerage

Ever wanted to know the difference between a Duke and a Baron? This page gives the basics of the hierarchy with links for each title for more indepth info.

Folklore and Mythology Electronic Texts

A huge collection of folk tales edited and/or translated by D. L. Ashliman, professor emeritus of the University of Pittsburgh. Pretty much the best resource for fairy tales I've ever found (besides my main fairy tale book, The Complete Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm, which is 2-inches thick and contains 250 tales).

Wikipedia: Medieval cuisine

I have quite a few bookmarks regarding medieval food (what types of food were available, which people ate what, and during which time periods), but this one is the most inclusive, covering multiple aspects of the subject in a single article.
