What's New?

I know it's been a long time since I posted an update here (it's all been moved over to my original fiction site at http://www.kodiwolf.com/WOLFsector/), but I have some announcements to make.

First is that I've just posted a new Xena fanfic called Sins of the Past Unchained. It's my reimagining of what really happened in the first episode. (Spoiler alert: They have sex.) :)

Next is that I have a Patreon account.

I'm obviously not charging for my fan fiction, which will always remain free, but if you've been wanting to continue reading my original stories and didn't sign up for the new site because you couldn't afford to pay $10 all at once for one of my original stories or $50 for a full Site Membership, this could be a way for you to do it as a kind of layaway program.

For example, if you sign up for $1/mo, then every 10 months, you'll receive a new Story Membership to the story of your choice (or at $2/mo, it would be every 5 months, etc.). Once you've reached $50, I'll convert your Story Memberships into a Site Membership, so you can access everything (including A Bondage Primer, which isn't available as a stand-alone Story Membership).

It currently costs me about $900/yr to fund my writing and post my stories online ($1,200 if you add in writing courses, books, software, upgrades, etc.), so my goal is to generate about $75-$100/mo in pledges to cover those costs (not make a profit, just cover costs).

My current members have been amazingly generous and have already helped me get to $69/mo in pledges. Another $10 (10 readers at $1/mo) would be perfect. And like I said, if you're not already a member, you'll be getting access to my original stories once you hit those $10 marks and then the whole site at $50.

My final announcement is just to let you know I do have more fan fiction posts in the works.

For the past few years, I've mostly been focusing on my original fiction because that's what I felt like people were paying me for, but I never abandoned my fanfic stories.

I have 5 new chapters for Xena: Warrior Slave coming up. I'm just trying to finish one of the scenes in Part 6, which is what is causing the delay. If it was in Part 10, I would have already posted parts 6-9 because I'm seriously impatient about this stuff when I know my work is done.

I also have one more brand new Xena fanfic, but it still needs the sex scenes (yes, plural) finished off. I consider it a kind of bookend to the one I just posted, since it takes place after the series finale, though I don't consider them to be part of the same universe (you'll understand when you read them).

Anyway, I know I haven't posted any fanfic since 2002 (gods, you have no idea how much I hate that and how happy I am to finally be able to post something), but I just wanted to let you know there's hopefully more coming up this year.
