Archive for February 2001

7th

I created an Archive section for the year 2001 (the link is up above). I've also created BetaWolf, a group for my new beta readers, which will hopefully be able to help me improve my writing, as well as get installments finished and ready for posting faster. I've also reorganized my Story Index because of a suggestion made by one of my readers. The Home page has also had a few modifications made to it.

Next on my list of things to do is update all my copyright notices, update all The Bard's Corner versions of my stories (need new URLs, as well as the latest chapters for several stories), and finish up my girlfriend's poetry site (it's so close to being done, just needs a final run through to make sure everything's right). And of course, I need to send a certain vampire chapter to BetaWolf for proofing. :)

...several hours later...

Okay, I changed all the copyright notices on my site and I updated all the stories for The Bard's Corner and sent them off to MaryD, so hopefully the stuff arrived okay and it'll be up in the next week or two. Oh, and I did send the chapter to the list, so we'll see what I have to fix before I can post it.

...20 minutes before midnight and many hours later...

I'm loving this beta reading thing. :) I got some great feedback, which I plan to put to use as soon as I get the chance to write again, so the next chapter of Bloodlines should be ready soon. And MaryD told me the new stuff would be up in her next update.

Well, Bloodlines needed more work than I thought. :) However, I have managed to finish up my girlfriend's website (just in time for Valentine's Day), so why don't you go over there and check it out? The URL is:

There's one story and a ton of poetry for you to read (there's even a picture of me that was taken just this past January, in case you've ever wanted to see what I look like :) Just look for the poem titled "Thoughts of You" and no I'm not linking to it, you have to go look for yourself :)).

Her poetry isn't like the usual stuff that most people seem to write. She writes in plain English. Normally, I'm not into poetry (I can never understand what the author is trying to say), but I "get" the stuff she writes, so even if you're not usually into poetry either, go read some of hers. Oh, and she's not expecting anyone to really take notice of her writing, so if her words do touch you at all, please let her know. There's an e-mail link to her at the bottom of every page, so there's no excuse not to give her some feedback. :)
