Site Disclaimer

For those of you who entered through the front door, you can probably skip this, but for the rest of you...

This site contains stories with depictions of graphic sex between two consenting adult females.

If you are under 18, or literary porn is illegal where you live, it may be illegal for you to continue beyond this page, even though there are "PG" stories that you could read. Consider this seriously before going any further.

If you find the subject matter offensive, no one is stopping you from clicking your "Back" button.

If you can think of any other reasons why you shouldn't be here, evaluate them, then decide whether you should leave or not.

With that said... If you're still here...

Enjoy :)

Feedback Policy

When I first started receiving e-mails about my stories, I was truly amazed. The idea that anyone would like my stories, let alone tell me what they thought of them, was a foreign concept to me. Being so new to the whole thing, I decided I would answer every single one of them. It really was the polite thing to do, in my opinion, and I truly wanted to thank everyone. I still do. It means so much to me to know how my stories have affected you and what you think about them; the good and the bad.

But after receiving nearly two-dozen e-mails in a single day, I realized I was being a little naïve. Back then, I wasn't working, I was just writing, and I still didn't have enough time to answer all the e-mails I was receiving and also write as much as I wanted. Now that I also work as a self-employed web designer and web consultant, and have a girlfriend too, I have even less time for my writing.

So, though I would love to answer all the e-mails I receive, I really can't. It may seem like it should only take a few minutes to send an e-mail to say thank you for your e-mail, but multiply that for all the e-mails I receive, and it really is too much. I will respond to any questions I receive, but that's all.

I truly am sorry that I don't have more time to devote to the e-mails I receive, but I figure you guys are probably more interested in getting the next update to your favorite story, than getting a thank you note from me. :)

However, I can speed read, and even if I can't respond to all the e-mails I get, I do read them all, so I would still love to hear from you, no matter what you have to say (I know, double standard, but what can I say? :)).

Thanks for understanding (or, if you don't, I'm really sorry).

Privacy Policy

When you visit this website or use my mailing lists, information is collected from you and your computer. This Privacy Policy describes what that information is and how I use it.

First and foremost, your information is kept strictly confidential. I do not sell your information and I never will. I also do not collect personally identifying information (real name, address, phone number, etc.). However, if I begin to accept orders when I publish my books, that will change, and this Privacy Policy will be amended to reflect that, but I will still keep your information confidential. The information I do collect is statistical in nature and is only intended to help me create web pages that work for everyone, as well as to assist me in promoting my website appropriately.

The following information is collected from visitors to this website:

IP address - I have no use for your IP address (it's collected by the server, but I don't look at it), so you can pretty much drop it from the list. I'm only mentioning it because it's in the web logs.

Country - The country data is just kind of neat because it lets me see that I have readers from all over the world, which is really cool. If I ever attempt to market my work outside of the US, this information will probably become very useful.

Browser type - I use the browser type information for fine-tuning my web pages for my visitors. My visitors use Internet Explorer the most, with Netscape, WebTV, and Opera coming in next down the list.

Operating system - OS information doesn't really help me with anything, but it does let me know that most of my visitors use Windows, with Macs and WebTV next down the list. It's just another interesting bit of data, like the country information.

Referring URL - This information lets me know about the websites where people are finding links to my own website. I've been quite surprised to find my site listed on so many other websites.

Search terms used to find my site - The search terms are kind of fun. You'd be amazed (or maybe you wouldn't) at the words people have used to find me. Someday, when I finally get serious about promoting my website, I'll use that information to hopefully boost my rankings within search engines.

Date of visit - This information just lets me know when people are visiting my site the most, like during the day, versus evening, or after I've posted an announcement to my mailing list. If I have something important to announce, this information can help me assess when might be the best time to post it.

What files/web pages are accessed - Knowing what files are being accessed gives me an idea of where people are going on my site and what the most popular pages and/or stories are at any given time.

The following information is collected from users of my mailing lists:

E-mail address - I need your e-mail address in order to send you e-mail from the mailing lists. I sometimes collect names/screen names from subscribers on my BetaWolf list just because I interact with them on a regular basis and referring to someone by their name is more polite than using their e-mail address, in my opinion.

As this site and my mailing lists develop over time, I may amend the Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the types of information that I collect, but your privacy will always remain unchanged.

Archiving Policy

I do not allow archiving of my stories (keeping and offering electronic copies of my stories on your own server, instead of linking to mine), except when the archive serves a purpose that my own website does not. If you think you have a good reason for offering copies of my stories on your own site, instead of linking to them on my site, let me know, and I will consider your request.

So far, I have allowed three websites to post my stories: one, because it widened my audience, and now they also offer a Rocket eBook format (which I don't); another, because they offer a palm pilot format (which I don't); and another, because they offer a French translation (which I don't).

I would prefer that you link to my story pages in order to guarantee that you always have the most recent version of my stories for your visitors to read. Linking to my site also means that I don't have to worry about old versions floating around the Internet. Plus, you won't have to waste your server space with duplicate copies of my stories.

If I do give you permission to host my stories on your site, there are three conditions you will have to meet (besides offering something that I don't, like a different format for a particular audience).

The conditions are:

  1. You must provide a link to my website (http://www.kodiwolf.com/), as well as the story's homepage on my website (ex: http://www.kodiwolf.com/KWLF/assassin.php), as a way of offering further and up-to-date information for my stories.

  2. You must credit me as the author (Kodi Wolf).

  3. You must let me know which stories you've archived and give me a link to your website.

You do not need to ask my permission to link to my website, provided you are not "framing" my pages (forcing my website to appear in your website's frames as though it were hosted on your website). I also will not appreciate "bandwidth theft" (ex: placing one of my graphics, like a book cover, on your pages, but linking to the image on my server instead of saving it on your own, so that all loads of the image come from my server's bandwidth allotment instead of your own). I've never had that problem, but I just thought I'd mention it, since I'm all for prevention.

If you want to use one of my book covers as a link to the story on my website, you have my permission to download it and save it to your web server for that purpose only, but make it clear to your visitors that the image is copyrighted to Kodi Wolf and is not Public Domain (you can direct them to this web page for more information about Terms of Use: http://www.kodiwolf.com/KWLF/policies.php).

Terms of Use Policy

All my original stories, which include those stories that are considered to be Uber Xena and are therefore listed on Xena-related sites, are copyrighted to Kodi Wolf.

This means that you may download the original stories and graphics that are displayed on this website for non-commercial, personal use only, and you must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, re-post, or use in any other way the original stories and graphics that are displayed on this website for public or commercial purposes without written permission from Kodi Wolf.

Also, though I really enjoy receiving e-mails about my stories, I can't accept any creative materials, ideas, or suggestions regarding my stories (Xena or otherwise). This is basically to protect me from potential lawsuits in case your ideas are similar to those I've developed independently. As such, any communication or material you do transmit to me by e-mail or otherwise will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. This means that I'm free to use any ideas or concepts contained in any communication you send to me for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, developing, modifying, and selling stories and other materials using such information.

If, for some reason, you want to write fan fiction based on my original stories, I will take it as a great compliment, but in doing so, you agree that you will relinquish any rights to any stories you write that are based on my original stories, and hereby transfer copyright to me; the work will become my property. Also, if you do write fan fiction based on my original stories, you agree that you will not make any money from doing so, and you must credit me and my work as the basis for your own when posting to the Internet or distributing copies offline, as well as including a copyright notice listing me as the owner (ex: Copyright 2003 by Kodi Wolf). Writing any fan fiction based on my original stories will be considered acceptance of these terms and conditions of use. Again, this is just to protect me from being sued in the event that you claim I stole one of your ideas for my own stories.

Nothing written here should be construed as to have placed any material offered on this website into the Public Domain, or that I have given up my rights to my work. All material offered on this website is copyrighted to me, unless otherwise noted, or a written notice of a transfer of copyright, signed by Kodi Wolf, is obtained for the work. I am simply offering permission for limited use of my work within the context of the guidelines and policies stated above and listed below.

Permission for limited use of my work includes:

  1. Printing a single paper copy of each chapter, story, or series of stories, or graphic image(s) related to a story, for your personal use.

  2. Saving a single electronic copy of each chapter, story, or series of stories, or graphic image(s) related to a story, for your personal use.

  3. Saving a single electronic copy of each chapter, story, or series of stories, or graphic image(s) related to a story, for archival/backup purposes for your personal use.

  4. Writing one or more stories based on my original stories only if you agree to turn copyright of the work over to me, and post a copyright notice to that effect, and credit me and my work as the basis for your story(s), and you receive no monetary gain.

  5. Saving a single electronic copy of each graphic image(s) related to a story for use on your website as a means to showcase or link to a story on my website only if you agree to post a copyright notice listing me as the owner, and you receive no monetary gain.

Any use not listed above is strictly prohibited.

If you do not agree to the terms stated here, you must leave the website immediately, and you must destroy any copies of my work, as well as any copies of this site's web pages that you may have.
