PDF Library

Below is an alphabetical list of the stories I've converted into PDF files. To download a file, right-click the link and choose 'Save Target As...' You'll need a program that can view PDF files. I recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader, since it's free. You'll also need a program to unzip the files, since they're in .zip format to make them a little smaller (and to keep people from reading the files on my website, which uses up my bandwidth). I recommend WinZip, since it's free.

There are slight differences between the PDF versions of my stories and the HTML ones posted on this site. The PDFs should be considered the most up-to-date because I created them from my Word documents, and I make changes to those documents that I don't always update on the site.

For example, if I'm re-reading and find a typo while I'm working on a new, unposted chapter, I don't usually take the time to open my HTML program, access the HTML file to update it, then open my FTP program to upload the file to the site, and then open my web browser to check that the page works.

That's a lot of work for one typo, particularly when I'm in the middle of writing, but the changes do accumulate over time. Unfortunately, the only way for me to be sure that the HTML files match my most recent Word documents is to code new HTML files from scratch, which is time consuming. Making these PDFs was a hell of a lot easier, though I did spend a lot of time formatting them to look like books (justified text, first line indent, etc.)

By the way, the file size listed in ( ) is the zipped file size. Unzipped, they're as much as 50% larger.
