The notes include both summaries of information posted on the Update page and notes I post directly to this page to let you know when I last worked on this story (I use my working file save dates for this information).
If the most recent date isn't very recent, then the story hasn't been worked on recently. You won't receive any further information by e-mailing me about when the next update will take place.

| June 15, 2005 | I've decided not to publish Assassin and instead rework the story to make it science fiction, which is more to my personal taste. Assassin will remain on the site as is, but unless I change my mind about publishing, this is the last progress report. |
| May 18, 2004 | I've started revisions in preparation for publishing. |
| May 8, 2002 | I've posted the final chapters, so the story is complete. I've reorganized the chapters, so the next new chapter is 26, not 17. I've also added a new scene to the end of chapter 2 and corrected typos and grammatical errors throughout the story. |
| April 23, 2002 | I've reorganized the chapters again, so I've sent revised chapters 26-34 (not 23-30) to the BetaWolf mailing list for further proofing. |
