Musing my way into work

I heard a couple of great songs
On the radio this morning
They put me in a really good mood
First, I heard "Unbelievable" by EMF
Which made me think of the movie
Coyote Ugly where the women bartenders
Dance on top of the bar
To that very song
It just made me want to
Go home and watch the movie
Then they played Natalie Cole's
"This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)"
Which always reminds me of the movie
If These Walls Could Talk 2
Where Sharon Stone and Ellen DeGeneres
Find out that Sharon's character is pregnant
And they are happily celebrating
By dancing around in their master bathroom
I've always loved that scene
It's a deliriously happy moment
As I continued to listen
To the words of the song
I smiled and thought of you
And just how much I love you
As the song played on
I also thought of our wedding
Of us dancing around your sister's living room
And I wondered why that song
Wasn't on any of the reception music CDs
I know we both love that song
But I figured we didn't own any
Soundtracks that had that song on it
My next thought was... well then
We need to own that song
Then my thoughts turned to a conversation
We'd had earlier in the week
About winning the lottery
And me not having to work anymore
But then again if I didn’t have to drive to work
I wouldn't have had the pleasure
Of hearing a couple of great songs
That lifted my spirits more than
I'd have ever believed
On second thought though
Snuggled up in bed with you
Watching those movies
Wouldn't be a bad idea either
But unfortunately...
Love won't pay the bills
