Hello, everyone.
Sorry, it's been so long since I last posted, but between the wedding and Kodi having her gall bladder removed, I've been a bit busy. I may have been too busy to post, but as you can see I've still been writing.
It's been a little over three months since our handfasting ceremony, which by the way, went well and was very beautiful. Kodi has been working on a new website that will feature photos, downloadable clips, and the transcript from our ceremony. We're hoping it will be online sometime in the near future.
But until it's ready for public viewing, I'm hoping that these new poems will suffice. I've added fifteen new poems to the 2004 index. The first two were written for Kodi, I Spent The Day and Together. The next five poems are about events surrounding our ceremony. They are Lessons, Heart and Soul, A Piece Of Me, Postcards, and Family. The next one is called Down At The River, and it is a follow up piece to the poem Sad, which has itself been updated (the Author's Notes, not the poem). You should probably read them, before reading Down At The River. The next two poems, Hope For The Future and First Times, are about voyerism. The next three poems are very introspective. The first two were written to Georgia. They are Abandoned, Lie Of Omission, and Embracing The Past. The final two poems are This Time and The Lioness. They were also written to Georgia.
There is also a special posting in the Author's Notes for the poem A Piece Of Me.
At the suggestion of one of my readers, thanks Cris, I have added a few more pictures to the site as well, to both old and new poems. The old poems are Today Tomorrow & Always, Old Photographs, and Toast Please, while the new ones are My Prince Charming, Family, Down At The River, and First Times.
Also, Kodi has helped me setup an update list for the site, which is hosted by Yahoo! Groups. If you'd like to be notified when I update my site with a new poem, then please join my mailing list (the link is near the top of this page). It is only an announcement list, so you don't have to worry about getting a ton of junk mail.
Plus, Kodi and I have done a little rearranging on the site. The Poems button has been removed, and the explanations about my poetry and Author's Notes that were on that page have been moved to my Welcome page, since we figured they made more sense there. We also moved what I'd written about my story on the Welcome page to the Stories page where it belongs. You may notice a few other minor changes too, like the color of the links are now orange.
I hope everyone has a nice relaxing holiday season, and as always, thanks for reading.

I've added a new poem to the 2004 poem index. The title is In Your Wake. It's about the slow process of letting go.
I hope you enjoy your stay, and thanks for reading.

Well, I fell and sprained my ankle yesterday, so since I can't do anything else right now, I decided to update my site.
I've added a new poem to the 2004 poem index. It's called Rights And Privileges.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my latest work.

Kodi and I had quite an evening last night, and I couldn't help but write a poem to thank her. The poem is entitled Touched, and it's been added to the 2004 poem index as well.
And as always, thanks for stopping by. I do hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing it.

Not a huge update today, I just added to the Author's Notes for the poem A Rose And A Key.

After I posted last week, I realized that I had failed to mention whether my mom survived her surgery. She did and has been doing quite well since then. I have started a poem about the day of my mom's surgery, but it's not ready for posting just yet. I still need to make a few more edits, but the poem is really hard to work on, for obvious reasons. But as soon as it's done, I'll post it.
I have written a new poem for Kodi though, and it's been added to the 2004 poem index. It's called My Prince Charming.
Thanks for reading.

Sorry, it's been a while since I last posted. But Kodi and I have been busy with wedding plans, plus my mother was in the hospital some last fall. So, sometimes updating my site just isn't a priority.
As you can see, Kodi has made a few changes to the site. She's added a third row of buttons and separated a few of the year indexes for easier navigation. And we've added an Archive page for each of the past years this site has been online. This What's New page was just becoming too long with four years' worth of updates. So now there's a link in the upper left corner to take you to the Archives.
Last August, my mother was diagnosed with heart disease and had to have open heart surgery. I wrote two poems at that time, and they've been added to the 2003 poem section. The first one is called I Can Do This while the second is Just Wanted You To Know.
I've also added three other poems to the 2003 poem section they are: Four Words, Feel The Love, and How Far I've Come.
And there is a new poem in the 2004 poem section. It's called A Rose And A Key.
Also, I've added a few of my favorite online stories to my Links page. So, if you're interested check those out as well.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed your stay.
