Here's my latest poem. I've added it to the 2002 section: What's In A Name.

Yeah, I know it's been awhile since my last update. I am such a slacker.

I haven't written that much lately. But I've added two new poems to the 2002 section: Tell Me Why and I Wonder.

Well, for starters, if you've been here before, you'll notice that the site has had a complete makeover, thanks to my very talented girlfriend, Kodi. We had been trying to come up with a new design for a while, but nothing seemed to fit. Then she came up with this one, which actually has some elements from each of the failed designs in it.

We both have put in a lot of work on the site. Kodi worked on the main design, and then incorporated all the changes that I wanted. Once she had the final design work done, it was then my job to transfer all the content. We're both quite pleased and proud of the final product. I just love it, especially the colors. Kodi says that it's very much me. I hope you like the new look as well. If you do, please let us know; we'd love to hear from you.

There are a few other design changes, which I hope will make navigation a little simpler than on my old site. The year-based poem indexes are buttons now and can be accessed from any page. And the Author's Notes are no longer on a separate page. Now they're on the same page as the poem itself. This should make updates a little easier, what with one less page to edit.

For a while now I've wanted to add a couple of photographs to the Author's Notes for the poems Thoughts of You II in the 2000 poem section, and It's the Light in the 1997-99 poem section, so I've finally done that.

And now for what's new in the poetry department. I have added a total of 31 poems. Some are new, but most of them are old. While in the process of upgrading my site, I told Kodi that I felt by posting my poems on the Internet I was in a way publishing my autobiography. And by leaving out certain poems, for whatever the reason, I was leaving gaps in my history, which really bothered me. So, I decided to add a few old poems to fill in some of those blank spaces and close the gaps.

In the 1983-93 poem section, I have added eight new poems. They are: Open Arms, At The Bar, An Innocent Dance, Silver and Gold, All Grown Up, The Night Sky, Us In June, and Today Tomorrow & Always.

I added eight new poems in the 1997-99 poem section, which are: Both Of You, Thank You, But I Do, Your Words, So What Did You Expect?, Without You, Black and Blue, and Write It.

And in the 2000 poem section, there are four new poems. They are: One Word, Death of the Grand Illusion, A Place In My Heart, and The Fear of Losing You.

There are two new poems that have been added to the 2001 poem section. They are: Awakened and From A Distance.

I have also added a 2002 poem section with nine new poems, which are: Have I Told You Lately, Musing The Day After, Red-tail, I Want You, The Earring, Happiness, Tell The Truth, Through Different Eyes, and Toast Please.

And last, but certainly not least, there is a little surprise added to the Author's Note for the poem Your Fantasy.
