Well, hello again.
I've been writing quite a bit, lately. I knew the words would eventually come; it was just a matter of time. The death of my grandparents and surrounding events has been a very hard and emotional subject for me to deal with, but a necessary one none the less. Finally, I've been able to write the poems that have been rolling around in my head for the past few months. And I've still got a few more on the subject yet to write. But just getting these first few written has sort of burst the dam and opened up my creative floodgates because I'm still writing, the words are still flowing, which is really cool.
I've added six new poems to the 2001 section: Turn The Page, Should Anything Happen, Old Photographs, The Touch Of Your Hand, The Taste, and It's Just Me.

More practice, I've added a new poem to the site in the 2001 section, To Say Goodbye.

Well I'll be damn, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
I never thought when Kodi first came up with the idea of me having my own website that I'd ever be the one actually updating the site. Well guess what? She is teaching me HTML. It's not as hard as I thought it might be. And it's really kind of fun, changing the code, then seeing how it affects what's seen and the site. So now I don't have to wait on Kodi to update my site, I can do it myself.
For practice, I performed the markup for the four new poems that have been added to the 2001 section: Bleeding Hearts, Your Fantasy, You're Not Her, and My Girl.
I have also added new navigational links to all the poems and Author's Notes. Now, you can return to the year index of the poem you're reading, instead of having to back button your way there or click on the main poems page to find the year index you were in.

Well, this is the Grand Opening. I hope you like what we've done with the place. :) Since all of the poems are new, I suggest you just go to the Poems page and start reading. In the future, when poems or stories are added to this site, they will be noted here, as will any other changes that are made. Well, go read! And Happy Valentine's Day! :)
