Life of the Party

Little did I realize
When I watched you
Walk through the door
That the life of the party
Had just arrived

I smiled as introductions
Were made and marveled
As you spoke of your age
And of what you did for a living

As the music played
I watched you dance
I watched with amazement
As every so often you'd inch down
The zipper on your blouse

I could resist the music no longer
And pulled Wolfmoon onto the dance floor
Then you asked if anyone would mind
If you took off your blouse
To which everyone replied in unison
"No, we don't mind"
And we were all treated
To the sight of you
And your lovely white bra

Wolfmoon soon tired of dancing
And left me to dance
With any and all takers
And that's where I stayed
For the rest of the evening
And just how I ended up
Dancing with you, I don't recall
But I must admit to falling
Under your spell

To which I write…

I'll take
Whatever you give me
I'll take
Your young round ass
Pressed into my groin
I'll take
The allure of your firm body
As it moves under my hands
I'll take
The heat our bodies create
As we dance together
I'll take
The coolness of your skin
To my touch
I'll take
The contrast of our skin color
As you hold my hand
Flat against your muscled abdomen

With my arms around you
For a moment you are mine
I'll take
Whatever you'll give me
And when the music finally stops
I'll let you go
And watch you walk away
Knowing that I will always
Remember you and this night
And that you probably never will

Author's Notes

Wolfmoon and I had been invited to a Christmas party at the home of a female police officer and her partner. We had been friends with the officer for several years since we all worked for the same municipality. And of course there were other women officers invited to the party, most of whom I'd met before. But I had never met the young black officer who became the life of the party that night. She was an absolute delight. And I have to say that was one of the best parties I've ever attended.
