Author's Notes
As my parents and I left my grandparents' house, I was thinking about how my grandmother has a hard time saying I love you, though you can feel that she does. For some reason, she just can't bring herself to say it. But I believe that you should actually say the words and not just expect the other person to know. The words of this poem came to me as we were pulling out of the driveway.
